LAYERS Beauty Tip of the Week

I'm pretty sure almost every woman can relate to my endless hunt for the BEST mascara out there. Everything you try leaves crumbs or smudges under your eyes by the end of the day, makes your eyelashes look like scary spiders or is impossible to get off.

Well my friends, I have a solution! It is my great pleasure to introduce to you....Dior Blackout Mascara.

When I first started using this mascara about a year ago, I was asked the same question by my sister AND a co-worker: "Do you have fake eyelashes on?" I am not kidding; it's THAT good!

I have recommended Dior Blackout Mascara to many of my family and friends to much critical acclaim. Available at most department stores for $24, Dior Blackout is not the cheapest mascara option, but its seriously dramatic volumizing and lengthening capabilities make it worth it!

BTW: I've been referred to by some as their own personal "makeup guru." I have always had a weakness for amazing cosmetics and have been trying all kinds of products since high school. (I can spend hours browsing on Sephora) Ask me anything, and I will give you a recommendation!

  1. Will you share your favorite foundation, eye shadow, eyeliner and other beauty products too?

  2. Yeah I would love to know your favorite foundation and exfoliating scrub. What is the difference between this and Dior show mascara? I hear a lot about that one...

  3. Blackout is acutally part of the DiorShow line, and happens to be my personal fave. The main distinction from the original is that it's "intensified by ultra-black kohl pigments," that create an EXTRA dramatic lash line.
I think it's pretty safe to say you would be happy with either one!

  4. With little Asian eyes like mine, I need magic to get my eyes to look bigger. I may have to check this mascara out now... Thanks for sharing this!

  5. OMG. Rachie is def my makeup GURU! She turned me onto DiorShow Blackout and I've been hooked ever since. I even betrayed my beloved Trish McEvoy for this stuff. Since I've moved to the hot hot central valley of CA I've gone to the waterproof DiorShow Iconic Extreme and it survives the hot heat and leisurely swim.
