Layers Beauty Tip of the Week

This is an awesome tip I've lived by for years now & who knows how much $$$ it has saved me.

The day that your "new" mascara starts to clump up on your lashes ALWAYS creeps up way too quickly. Here's how you can breathe new life into that one makeup item none of us can live without:

1. Run your bathroom faucet to a warm temperature & turn it almost off so that it is coming out at a slow drip.

2. Hold the wand of your drying out mascara under the stream, allowing one or two drops of water to land on it.

3. Screw the wand back into the other side of the mascara tube, give it a little shake, & let it sit for a couple of minutes.

4. Apply and watch your luscious lashes get the length & seperation they got out of that mascara on its very first use!

  4. Great question! I have never tried this tip with the waterproof version, but my guess is that it would not have the same effect it does on regular mascara.
