LAYERS is Slimming Down for the Summer!

About three months ago we Layers staff members embarked our own personal weight loss campaign. Every Friday, we all weighed in and charted our progress. We had our ups and downs, but the results of today's final weigh in speak for themselves.......we lost a combined total of 70 POUNDS!

Now we're all ready to strip down to our fabulous Layers swimsuits and hit the pool/beach/water park, etc.! Look out summer, here we come!

On Friday we bid a fond farewell to Laura, who was Layers' primary blog contributor and marketing extraordinaire. She is moving to sunny California in support of her husband's career; we wish them both the very best of luck with all their future endeavors.

The send-off celebration was lunch at Cheesecake Factory, mmmm. Layers staffers loooove cheesecake! We would like to express our sincere thanks for everything Laura has contributed to Layers; we will miss our little firecracker! Gwen Stefani is a fashion icon.

Her punk rock princess style has transcended two decades. From the Vans Warped Tour in the early 90s as No Doubt's front woman, to the Sweet Escape Tour in '06, flying solo, Gwen has rocked the stage with her vocal styling and given the fashion world an alternative makeover with her designer labels: L.A.M.B. & Harajuku Lovers.
